It all Started in Hobart

And it only took me a couple of years to figure it out

A Year in Review…

I kind of lost track of the last year… Sorry.

So much has happened and yet at the same time nothing at all. We made a couple of trips to places I haven’t been, spent a lot of time witht the dogs, and generally just got through the year.

Since it has been a while since the last post, I wanted to start back up with an quick overview, and then maybe I will go into some details later. So without further ado….

Another Halloween came and went. And as always we carvedpumpkins with my parents. Tami and I went to a bit of a costume party as well. More on that later.

We went to another zoo that I had never been to. Very cool place and it keeps getting better. They have TIGERS! And mountain lions (or cougars or pumas. Whatever you learned them as.

We saw Nahko! Now I know most of you don’t know who that is, which is a shame, but fine. Tami introduced me to Nahko when we started dating and he eventually became the artist of the song “Tus Pies” which is the song we had our first dance to at the wedding. This is something that I will never forget.

I woke up at the crack of dawn to volunteer with the foodbank for the Maple Valley Turkey Trot. Too early, but worth it.

I then made a simple Thanksgiving dinner with a smoked turkey. Turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.

Berko found our mud pit…

Easter ahppened, which means we dyed eggs at the height of the egg price gouging.

We went to Boston, which I thought was amazing. We watched the Mariners play the Red Sox and win! So that was fun. More on this later.

Went back to the zoo again, but this time for a close encounter.

We got a pool and Berko was not sure if he really needed a floaty.

Went to another zoo (I really do like zoos) that had no kids at it and where you could walk around with a beer in your hand. Pretty much the best way to experience the zoo.

We went to the first pre-season Seahawks game courtesy of Tami’s coworker.

Then we saw Hozier, which was pretty incredible. Another one of those things I wont forget any time soon.

We drove to Missoula, MT to go experience Big Sky Country. We will be going back again.

Then we went to Boeing Field to watch the Blue Angels take off and land for Seafair, which there will definitely be more to come on this.

I am sure that there are some things I missed, but you get the idea. Check back soon for more!
